The Cranston Chamber's membership is a composite of all facets of the business and professional community, and ranges from retailers and manufacturers to service organizations. Below is a list of the many benefits through membership:

BUSINESS AFTER HOURS
Each month, a Chamber Member hosts a gathering (usually on a Thursday from 5-7pm.) This meeting is a forum for Members to network and socialize in an informal, relaxed atmosphere. It is a terrific "low pressure" way to meet others and generate business. Contact the Chamber if you are interested in being a host, co-host or to donate a door prize.

BUSINESS EXPANSION NETWORK ("BEN")
Network with other Rhode Island professionals! The BEN group meets twice a month to exchange leads and referrals. The group members build a rapport with one another and develop business and networking relationships. As a member of BEN, you have exclusive rights to your industry. Contact the chamber for dates and member list.

MEMBER TO MEMBER DISCOUNT CLUB
Any Member and their employees can benefit by receiving discounts from Chamber Members. Your business can offer a company discount for other members to enjoy. Call now to sign on for your FREE monthly listing in our newspaper - circulation 3,000.

MEETING OTHER BUSINESS EXECUTIVES
The Chamber offers a variety of events and programs that allow Members to meet other Members, including:
Annual Event, Golf Tournament, Breakfast Meetings/Luncheons, Membership Drive, Monthly Business After Hours, Las Vegas Night, United Way Day.

OFFERED FREE TO MEMBERS

SOLICITATION CONTROL
Free to Members - you will receive a card for your door with your membership package. It is designed to have solicitors register officially with the Chamber of Commerce before they can sell to you.

CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN/NOTARY PUBLIC
Exporters who are members can use this service for FREE. Non-members pay $10. We offer these services at the chamber office.

RELOCATION INFORMATION
The Chamber will provide relocation and demographic information for individuals and companies looking to move to Cranston. Call for a package.

ISSUES MANAGEMENT
The Chamber monitors all local, state, and federal legislative initiatives and issues and takes steps through the statewide Chamber of Commerce network to make certain that the business community's position is heard and understood. Directions and advice on complying with regulations are also available. Linked to the US government through the US Chamber of Commerce Business Meets Government officials - Receptions, Forums, published info on statewide legislative issues, partnered with community organizations including the U. S. Small Business Administration, Small Business Development Center, RI Manufacturing Extension Services, SCORE.
